5-Nitroisophthalic acid Application

1. 5-Nitroisodecanoic acid can be obtained by cyanidation or amination to obtain 2,6-dicyano-4-nitroaniline. It is an important intermediate for disperse dyes. The first step cyanation reaction uses xylene as a solvent and reflux reaction at 135-140 ° C for 2-4 h to obtain 5-nitroisophthalonitrile, and the yield is 91% or more. The second step of the amination reaction is a reaction at 25-30 ° C for 4 h, and the yield is 80% or more.

2. 5-Nitroisodecanoic acid is also an intermediate in the development of new diagnostic drugs.
