Acetanilide Usage

Acetanilide is the raw material of sulfonamides and can be used as analgesic, antipyretic and antiseptic.Used to manufacture dye intermediates p-nitroacetanilide, p-nitroaniline and p-phenylenediamine.In the second world war, when a large number of used in the manufacture of acetyl amino benzene sulfonyl chloride (Acetylsulfanilylchloride).Acetanilide is also used to make thioacetamide.It can be used as rubber vulcanization accelerator, stabilizer for fiber fat coating, stabilizer for hydrogen peroxide and synthetic camphor.
