Preparation method:
1, Hydroxylation reaction: by reacting propylene with water in the presence of a catalyst to produce (S)-1,2-propanediol.
2, Purification reaction: by oxidizing propylene alcohol by oxygen under light to obtain (S)-1,2-propanediol.
